This one has a hint of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Depeche Mode, a smattering of Prince, and a bit of Kanye thrown in too. I enjoyed making this one. Let me know what you think. It's definitely one of my more experimental tracks.more

Written, produced and performed by me, apart from drums which were programmed and inspired by Pearl Jam. Got a bit of Flaming Lips, Gomez and Red Hot Chili Peppers in here. With a bit of James Jamerson inspired bass playing. This is the mastered version, and I've also made some changes since the rough mix I put on here: changed drum loop and made it a higher tempo, added more vocal layering, and generally made it punchier.more

Thanks to everyone for the love and advice on the rough mix I did of this. I've increased the drums and vocals in the mix, and done some EQing to give everything a bit more space. Going for an 80s vibe on this with some Tears for Fears inspiration and a bit of Sam Fender to make it sound more up to date. My fav bits are the vocal 'Ba Bas' in the second verse and chorus if you get that far. Would love to hear if it's an improvement...or not!more
